Runtime Engineer - New Grad

SambaNova•San Jose, CA
•$131,200 - $196,200

About The Position

SambaNova is a leader in next-generation AI infrastructure, delivering a full-stack inference platform to customers worldwide. Its technology is built around the RDU (Reconfigurable Dataflow Unit), a chip based on a dataflow architecture, and SambaRack, rack-scale hardware for deploying AI models. The Runtime team owns the lowest layer of the SambaNova software stack, which communicates directly with hardware. It develops user libraries, drivers, networking, and system tools for ML training and inference across SambaStack and SambaCloud. As a new-grad Runtime Engineer, you will write production code in C, C++, Rust, and Python across drivers, user-space libraries, networking, and system tools. You will help bring up drivers on next-generation silicon, test and deploy runtime features on large multi-node systems, and investigate performance bottlenecks with hardware and compiler teams.
