About The Position

The Valet Runner position is responsible for retrieving our guest vehicles, helping to unload/re-load luggage, park cars carefully and returning vehicles quickly as well as providing professional, courteous, and overall satisfaction when guests are arriving and departing our property.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to drive and operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Ability to communicate effectively with Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form
Ability to communicate in English
Proficient in computer applications
Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record
High school diploma or the equivalent
Must have or obtain all required work cards
Must possess excellent guest service skills to effectively deal with guests
Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
Must be able to stand during entire shift
Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping

Nice To Haves

Previous valet experience preferred

Responsibilities

Practicing, supporting, and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times
Demonstrating attention to detail and completing assignments accurately
Following instructions provided in both written and verbal form
Maintaining high attention to detail and workplace safety
Being self-motivated and able to work under pressure
Assisting guests in a prompt courteous manner
Maintaining communication and cooperation with other shifts and departments to keep fellow Team Members informed of all pertinent information
Having a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area in order to assist customers
Effectively parking and retrieving guest cars without causing damage to the vehicle
Monitoring and directing personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property, including guest vehicles, taxi cabs, limousines, and buses
Maintenance and care of assigned area
