About The Position

The Concessions Runner supports daily concession operations by working closely with nonprofit (NPO) volunteer groups to ensure efficient, accurate, and organized stand performance. This role is responsible for coordinating inventory counts, processing requisitions, assisting with closing procedures, and maintaining proper stock levels throughout events. The Concessions Runner reports to Concession Stand Event Day Leads and plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations and a positive guest experience.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry items (typically 25–50 lbs)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
• Communication skills to work effectively with volunteers and leadership
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Partner with NPO volunteers to support concession stand operations
• Coordinate and verify inventory counts before, during, and after events
• Process and fulfill product requisitions in a timely manner
• Restock food, beverages, and supplies to maintain service flow
• Assist with stand opening and closing procedures, including reconciliation and cleanup
• Transport inventory safely between storage and concession areas
• Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or needs to Event Day Leads
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety standards
