About The Position

Bosch Home Comfort is seeking a Run Tester to perform critical testing on assembled units and ensure that performance meets all specifications. The role involves setting up and testing refrigeration units, running them until stabilized, troubleshooting performance issues, checking components and subassemblies, and documenting results. The tester also identifies and reports abnormal quality conditions, maintains an organized work area, and follows safety protocols and company procedures. This is a first-shift position. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a drug screen and background check. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely; future work-authorization sponsorship is unavailable.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read Operational Method Sheets (OMS) and quality specifications.
Excellent attention to detail.
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement support.
Indefinite U.S. work authorization; future sponsorship for work authorization is not available.
Successful completion of a drug screen and background check before the start date.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in HVAC, testing, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Read and understand Operational Method Sheets (OMS) and job instructions.
Set up and test refrigeration units for operation, and run them until stabilized.
Troubleshoot performance issues when problems arise.
Set up testing equipment and perform checks, including compressor performance, pressure cutouts, and temperature readings.
Test components and subassemblies according to specifications.
Complete required reports, checklists, and rejection tags.
Identify causes of abnormal quality conditions and report findings.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
