Glenmore - Run Club Leader
About The Position
The Glenmore Running Room is seeking an active runner to lead its Run Club every Wednesday evening. The Run Club leader will provide support to members, foster an inclusive environment, and ensure no one is left behind. This role involves sending out a weekly email with Run Club details, Running Room events, and meet-up information. Leaders will organize participants into pace and/or distance groups, lead them on runs, and ensure everyone has a group to run or walk with. The leader also has the opportunity to create themed Run Club nights. The Running Room's philosophy emphasizes community, inclusivity for all skill levels, meeting new people, making friendships, and achieving personal goals.
Requirements
- Active runner
- Ability to create an inclusive environment
- Ability to organize participants into pace and/or distance groups
- Ability to lead groups on runs
- Good communication skills for weekly emails

Responsibilities
