About The Position
We are looking for an active runner to lead the Sherwood Park 205 Festive Way Running Room Run Club every Wednesday evening from 6pm to 7:15pm. Run Club leaders offer support to fellow members and strive to create an inclusive environment where no one is left behind. The Run Club is an extension of the Running Room’s philosophy on running, serving as a community where people of all skill levels can gather to enjoy running, meet new people, make friendships, and achieve personal goals.
Requirements
- Comfortable running 6-8km.
- Active runner.

- Experience creating an inclusive environment.
- Experience organizing participants by pace and/or distance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Sherwood Park Running Room Run Club every Wednesday evening.
- Send 2 weekly emails to participants with Run Club details, Running Room events, and meet-up details.
- Organize participants into pace and/or distance groups.
- Lead groups on runs, ensuring everyone has a group to run or walk with.
- Create themed Run Club nights.
