About The Position

This role involves measuring, weighing, and mixing raw materials according to detailed formulas and production specifications using scales and computerized systems. The operator will run rubber mixing equipment, monitor temperature, batch timing, and recipe accuracy to ensure consistent product quality. Responsibilities also include operating milling equipment, sheeting, stacking, and handling rubber compounds. Accurate production record-keeping, including material usage and inventory transactions in SAP or other systems, is essential. The role requires transporting materials and preparing rubber for shipping or storage, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment and adhering to all quality and safety standards. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, mixing, or industrial operations preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow formulas, batch sheets, and work instructions with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience operating mixing, milling, or material handling equipment is highly desirable.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining product quality and accuracy.
  • Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a team-oriented production environment.
  • Physical ability to perform demanding job tasks, including frequent heavy lifting, standing, bending, stooping, and handling rubber materials safely.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to detailed formulas and production specifications using scales and computerized systems.
  • Operate rubber mixing equipment and monitor temperature, batch timing, and recipe accuracy to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Run milling equipment, including monitoring, cutting, and completing milling cycles in accordance with established procedures.
  • Sheet, stack, and handle rubber compounds both manually and with automated equipment.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including material usage, batch data, and inventory transactions in SAP or other systems.
  • Transport materials and finished products using carts, racks, rollers, or hand trucks, and prepare rubber for shipping or storage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all quality and safety standards and performing additional duties as assigned.
