RTC Associate, Agricultural Specialist

About The Position
As a RTC Associate, you will work with our team of Agriculture Industry consultants to analyze, identify, document qualifying agricultural activities across a variety of operations. This role will work directly with farmers, ranchers, producers, and agribusiness clients to understand their operations, evaluate qualifying activities, and support the preparation of R&D tax credit studies and documentation.
Requirements
- 1 – 2 years research tax credit experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience working with farmers, ranchers, producer cooperatives, or agricultural operations strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support analysis of agricultural processes, operational improvements, irrigation systems, livestock operations, precision agriculture, and other qualifying farming and ranching activities
- Assist with fieldwork activities including client interviews with farmers, ranchers and agribusiness owners, facility tours, gathering relevant information, reviewing operational procedures and documentation, and summarizing findings
- Support preparation of cost lead schedules, cost summary schedules, related calculations, and draft reports summarizing findings
- Assist in ensuring client projects are completed in accordance with firm standards and within established timelines and budgets
- Coordinate project and delivery schedules to help meet client deadlines and expectations
