About The Position
Perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or interventional radiology procedures. Provide patient and family education, operate equipment safely, complete department documentation, keep equipment clean and operational, maintain adequate supply inventory for examinations, and participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities. The position is at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia, on the first (day) shift. The hospital is a 525-bed tertiary care facility and a teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Requirements
- Successfully complete a Radiologic Technology Program.
- Hold ARRT or RCIS registration.
- Have BLS certification.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Be able to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment, supplies, and patients.
