About The Position

The attendant at Rt. 88 Burgers and Brew requires a friendly and efficient person who can handle a variety of responsibilities. From customer service skills at the cash register to food preparation in the kitchen and stocking shelves. Must enjoy a fast-paced environment and be a team player.

Requirements

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry moderate to heavy objects.
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Operate the cash register, processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues with a positive attitude.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and sanitary work environment in the kitchen.
Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shift.
Prepare food items according to established recipes and procedures.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., ovens, grills, fryers).
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
Ensure timely preparation of food orders.
Receive and unpack deliveries, verifying accuracy against invoices, assist with inventory counts.
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise, maintain organized stock areas.
Rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
Complete appropriate trainings listed on the human resources Training Matrix.
Adhere to Wheeling Park Commission’s safety rules and policy; refer any and all safety concerns to department manager, safety committee or human resources.
Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees.
