About The Position

Gulfstream is seeking talented, motivated individuals for an entry-level position as an RS CNC Tech I. This role involves operating automated machines to fabricate parts, requiring strong attention to detail, understanding of 3D models, and the use of power tools. The position is on the first shift, Monday through Thursday, from 05:00 AM to 15:30 PM, working 4 x 10-hour days. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to perform tasks that require strong attention to detail.
Ability to understand 3D models.
Ability to use power tools.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of CNC machines and laser cutting systems preferred.
Experience in automated machine environment/CNC preferred.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, operate automated machine using existing programs.
Remove/replace cutting tools and offsets as required.
Inspect condition of tools and replace as needed.
Inspect cut material/part prior to CNC operation to ensure conformity and compliance with blueprints, models, and/or engineering documents.
Identify material and appropriate cutting tools.
Set up material and inspect for serviceability.
Monitor material supply.
Validate preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machines.
Alert maintenance of any repair/preventative issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Comply with 5S and Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
