About The Position

Gulfstream is seeking talented, motivated individuals for exciting career opportunities. This role involves setting up and operating automated machines to fabricate parts, applying knowledge of shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, maintainability materials, and layout techniques. The position is entry-level and requires the ability to work in a team environment with strong attention to detail, understanding 3D models, and using power tools. Experience in an automated machine environment/CNC is preferred.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Perform tasks that require strong attention to detail.
Understanding 3D models.
Use of power tools.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Nice To Haves

Understanding of CNC machines and laser cutting systems preferred.
Experience in automated machine environment/CNC preferred.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, operate automated machine using existing programs.
Remove/replace cutting tools and offsets as required. Inspect condition of tools and replace as needed.
Inspect cut material/part prior to CNC operation to ensure conformity and compliance with blueprints, models, and/or engineering documents.
Identify material and appropriate cutting tools. Set up material and inspect for serviceability.
Monitor material supply.
Validate preventative maintenance and minor repairs on machines. Alert maintenance of any repair/preventative issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Comply with 5S and Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
