About The Position

As a Roving Maintenance Technician (Company Vehicle Provided) in the Tampa Bay, FL area, you are a dependable, self-starter with experience in building and property maintenance. You quickly identify issues and recommend corrective measures to ensure quality and safety. You have a strong work ethic and bring a positive, customer-centric approach to your work, responding to emergency requests working through light construction projects or conducting regular inspections.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in building/property maintenance.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel)
• Working knowledge of work order and preventative maintenance software systems
• Experience with painting, drywall and light carpentry/construction projects
• Flexibility in work schedule - available for off-hours emergency response if required
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Commercial experience (this is a plus!).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete system and building repairs and preventative maintenance requirements in a timely manner.
• Have an ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain and check daily operating logs for the following: air conditioning, fan units, graph charts, utility meters and general complaints.
• Ensure that building systems and tenant service requests are handled efficiently at the most economical cost.
• Successfully coordinate contractor, tenant and management approvals for work orders.
