About The Position

Pan American Properties, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Roving Community Porter to support multiple apartment communities throughout Orange County and Long Beach. This is a dynamic, hands-on role for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and taking pride in maintaining clean, attractive communities. You'll travel between properties providing cleaning, porter, and turnover support that directly impacts residents' quality of life and the overall appearance of our communities.

Requirements

• Previous porter, janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred
• Valid California driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle and proof of insurance
• Ability to travel between multiple properties throughout the workday
• Ability to communicate in conversational English
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening (a conviction will not automatically disqualify you)
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching
• Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Safe operation of cleaning equipment and tools

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, mirrors, and windows
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, laundry rooms, offices, and common areas
• Remove trash and recycling
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies
• Maintain building entrances, sidewalks, breezeways, and parking areas
• Help ensure each community remains clean, safe, and welcoming
• Assist with preparing vacant apartments for new residents
• Clean units during the turnover process
• Support property teams with community projects and special assignments
• Assist maintenance teams with general property appearance and cleanliness
• Occasionally assist with carpet cleaning, floor stripping, waxing, and buffing, interior and exterior window cleaning, and large-scale property cleanups and beautification projects
