About The Position

Roving Leasing Professional Location: Dallas, TX Area Compensation: $21–$24 per hour (based on experience), plus monthly performance bonuses. We're seeking an experienced Roving Leasing Professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, supporting multiple communities, and helping teams achieve leasing success. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who thrives on building relationships, driving occupancy, and delivering an outstanding resident experience. As a Roving Leasing Professional, you'll travel between apartment communities to provide leasing support where it's needed most while representing the Gaines Investment Trust brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Requirements

• At least one year of apartment leasing experience (required)
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• A positive, energetic personality with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience using Yardi Voyager and CRM software (required)
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to support multiple communities
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with prospective and current residents
• Create a welcoming, professional experience that encourages resident satisfaction and retention
• Discover each prospect's needs and recommend the right apartment home
• Overcome objections and confidently guide prospects through the leasing process
• Conduct engaging apartment tours and secure lease agreements
• Prepare lease documents and maintain accurate resident records
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Fair Housing guidelines
• Assist onsite teams with day-to-day leasing operations
• Support occupancy and resident retention goals
• Partner with onsite teams to maximize leasing activity and revenue
• Provide consistent follow-up with prospects and residents
• Utilize Microsoft Office, Yardi Voyager, and CRM software to manage leasing activity and maintain accurate records
• Travel between assigned communities as needed
• Work a schedule that includes Saturdays and multiple weekdays
• Adapt quickly to different teams and community environments while maintaining exceptional service standards
