We are currently seeking a highly organized, analytical, and solutions-driven Routing Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will play a critical role in optimizing technician schedules, maximizing route efficiency, and ensuring our customers receive timely and effective service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of CRM or routing software experience.
  • Prior experience in a service-based or field service organization preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and leverage technology to improve workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills across multiple teams and departments.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining efficient technician service routes that support operational productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Utilizing routing software such as Route Op, Best Fit, or equivalent systems to create and maintain efficient daily technician routes.
  • Applying knowledge of pest control service types, technician capacity, travel geography, and customer needs to reduce drive time and maximize profitability.
  • Analyzing preliminary routing plans and independently making adjustments to continuously improve route productivity.
  • Monitoring service order constraints and proactively identifying scheduling inefficiencies.
  • Partnering with Branch Managers and Service Managers to create, maintain, and improve technician schedules.
  • Collaborating closely with Residential Admin, Commercial Admin, Customer Service Center, and Escalation teams on scheduling needs.
  • Serving as the routing systems subject matter expert and assisting with routing-related inquiries or concerns.
  • Assisting with callback scheduling, emergency service appointments, and urgent customer needs.
  • Coordinating customer notifications regarding upcoming service expectations.
  • Supporting Commercial Administrative scheduling for new service work.
  • Maintaining routing calendar lookup tables and scheduling parameters.
  • Escalating routing or scheduling issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
