About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for an Outbound Router Supervisor at our Colonial Heights, VA. Service Center to manage dock and dispatch operations. This role involves coordinating dock operations, driver and freight handler scheduling, ensuring safety compliance, and overseeing quality freight handling procedures. The ideal candidate will have proven basic leadership experience and the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proven basic leadership experience.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and logistical skills.
• Solid problem-solving abilities.
• Computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of the city and surrounding areas.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of quality freight handling.
• Prior LTL leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage driver and freight handler operations.
• Coordinate dock operations and driver/freight handler scheduling.
• Ensure safety compliance.
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed.
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.
