About The Position

The Route Truck Driver is responsible for organizing paperwork for deliveries and pick-ups to ensure efficient route operation. This role involves accurate loading of the truck based on provided paperwork, managing all orders for a specific route, and communicating any order issues (missing or otherwise) to management. Drivers must ensure all deliveries and pick-ups are signed for using the provided handheld device. Deliveries are made to designated areas at each customer's location, which may include multiple locations per stop. The driver must be able to carry up to 75 pounds up one flight of stairs. At the end of the day, trucks must be cleaned out with no merchandise left on board. Any order or pick-up issues must be resolved with management before the end of the day. Additionally, drivers are responsible for the care and upkeep of all provided equipment, including uniforms, hand trucks, and delivery trucks.
