About The Position

This position is responsible for loading linen carts onto trucks, delivering products to customers in a timely manner, and maintaining a clean and organized storage area. The driver ensures customers have sufficient linen for daily needs and completes full customer inventories as directed by the Service Manager. A primary focus is operating the vehicle safely and within legal speed limits at all times.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience driving a box truck
Have a valid driver's license and a valid driver’s license, meets all DOT requirements, and is physically able to perform the duties of this position.
Be able to drive nights, holidays, and weekends.
Have strong communication and customer service skills required.
Must have a minimum +2 and supply a copy of their Virginia driving record upon interview.
Will be able to push the linen carts which weight up to 450 pounds and lift 30 pounds overhead.

Responsibilities

Load linen carts onto trucks.
Deliver the product to customers in a timely manner.
Maintains a clean and organized storage area.
Ensures the customer has enough linen for daily needs.
Ensure a full inventory of each customer is completed, documented, and maintained on a regular basis at the direction of the Service Manager.
Operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times.
