Route Service Technician / Driver – Portable Restrooms
About The Position
Island Restrooms is a family-owned and operated portable restroom company serving all of Southern Florida. For over a decade, we've provided portable toilets and luxury restroom trailers for weddings, events, construction sites, and commercial clients, and we've built our reputation on clean equipment and 5-star service. Steady growth has created an opening for a Route Service Technician at our Lower Keys Depot in Ramrod Key, serving Key West, Marathon, and the Lower Florida Keys. Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required by our insurance and for access to client sites)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and pride in clean, well-kept equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather and handle physical tasks like lifting, pushing, and pulling
- A team player who's comfortable taking direction
Nice To Haves
- Experience in route service, delivery driving, sanitation, landscaping, facilities, or other hands-on work is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Drive an assigned route to service, clean, and restock portable toilets and luxury restroom trailers
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and keep your service vehicle in excellent condition
- Keep the depot yard organized, clean, and ready for daily operations
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Give clients friendly, professional service on every stop
- Help with special events and VIP properties as needed
- Document service activities and report any equipment issues
