About The Position

Island Restrooms is a family-owned and operated portable restroom company serving all of Southern Florida. For over a decade, we've provided portable toilets and luxury restroom trailers for weddings, events, construction sites, and commercial clients, and we've built our reputation on clean equipment and 5-star service. Steady growth in the Keys has created an opening for a Depot Supervisor / Lead Route Technician at our Lower Keys Depot in Ramrod Key. This is a working supervisor role. You'll run your own service route at least four days a week, and you'll also take the lead on keeping the depot yard in top shape and training new Route Service Technicians. With base pay, overtime, bonuses, and commission combined, expected total compensation for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. It's the right fit for someone who leads by example, takes ownership, and wants to grow into a Depot Manager role.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required by our insurance and for access to client sites)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Experience in route service, sanitation, delivery, facilities, or similar hands-on work
  • Reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail and pride in clean, well-kept equipment
  • Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather and handle physical tasks like lifting, pushing, and pulling
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to stay organized
  • A desire to grow into a Depot Manager role

  • Experience leading, training, or mentoring others is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Run an assigned service route at least four days a week, servicing, cleaning, and restocking portable toilets and luxury restroom trailers
  • Oversee the depot yard, keeping equipment, vehicles, and supplies organized, clean, and ready for daily operations
  • Train new Route Service Technicians on service standards, safety procedures, and customer expectations
  • Set the example for safety, quality, and professionalism on every stop
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and make sure depot vehicles stay in excellent condition
  • Report equipment issues, inventory needs, and team updates to management
  • Help with special events and VIP properties as needed
  • Document service activities accurately
