Route Service Representative
About The Position
Strategic Retail Partners is seeking a Route Service Representative in Springfield, MA. This role involves independently traveling across a large territory of various store locations to implement merchandising plans and ensure compliance with company standards. The representative will set up, replenish, and merchandise trendy and high-quality products, arrange and maintain product displays, and manage stock and product rotation. The job requires maintaining a company-paid storage unit for additional inventory and working closely with store managers and team members to achieve merchandising goals. The daily schedule typically starts at 6:00 am, with 48-52 hours per week and potential for overtime. Overnight stays in a hotel (1-2 nights per week) may be required based on business needs.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Tech savvy (smartphone apps, Outlook, and Zoom)
- Able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and bend, push, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
- This is a physical job that requires the driver to get in and out of a vehicle frequently
- Must be 25 years of age or older
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in customer service, sales and/or retail preferred
Responsibilities
- Independently travel across a large territory of various store locations to implement merchandising plans and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Set up, replenish, and merchandise our trendy and high-quality products at stores on a route driving a company vehicle from SRP's fleet.
- Arrange and maintain product displays to enhance visual appeal and drive sales.
- Maintain planograms to ensure consistency across all store locations.
- Set up promotional displays and ensure promotional materials are accurately placed.
- Work closely with store managers and other team members to achieve merchandising goals.
- Manage stock, rotate products, and ensure shelves are well-stocked in store while maintaining a company paid storage unit that will store additional inventory.
