Route Service Representative (Non CDL)- Austin/San Antonio
About The Position
The main objective of this Route Service Representative position is to manage and grow an established route while meeting customer needs and providing superior customer service. The role involves safely and efficiently operating a commercial vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries, and loading and unloading products using proper equipment. The representative will communicate professionally with customers, address concerns, adhere to traffic laws, and complete necessary paperwork. This is a non-CDL position.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a route driver or in a similar role is required
- Familiarity with route driving and courier operations
- Ability to operate a variety of vehicles, such as a transit, step van or bob tail
- Proficient in loading and unloading goods
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
