About The Position

Phelps Uniform Specialists is a family-owned and operated company seeking a dependable, safety-focused Part-Time Route Service Representative (RSR) to support our service operations. In this role, you'll transport products between our facility and the LaSalle depot while servicing one dedicated customer route each week. This position offers a regular 3-day work week (18-20 hours per week), with the potential for a fourth workday in the future.

Requirements

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Clean driving record.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. and move carts weighing up to and exceeding 250 lbs.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements (drug/alcohol test, fit-for-duty test, DOT physical).
Must be at least 21 years of age to meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

Transport clean products from our production facility to the LaSalle depot.
Return soiled products from the depot back to our facility for processing.
Service one dedicated customer account each week, including deliveries and pickups.
Load, unload, and move products and carts safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Operate a company vehicle safely and professionally.
Communicate any customer, service, or vehicle concerns to management.
