Route Service Representative (4 Day Workweek)
About The Position
Cintas is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. Our partners drive a truck along an established route and service and sell within an existing customer base. It is a physical, fast-paced, indoor/outdoor position in which our partners deliver and pick up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products and other facility service products. Our Route Service Representatives enjoy a comprehensive 10-week training program, solid base salary and commission potential after being assigned a route, and the majority work a 4-Day workweek with no nights or weekends. They also receive monthly/quarterly performance bonuses & incentives.
Requirements
- Meet all requirements outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
- Have an active driver's license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Obtain a DOT medical certification.
- Provide documentation regarding previous employment.
- Meet the physical requirements of the position.
- A High School diploma, GED or Military Service.
- Demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
- Self-motivation and the drive to work in an environment that relies on teamwork to meet goals.
- A positive attitude, along with ambition, organization and service spirit.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport with key decision makers as the face of Cintas to customers.
- Ensure quality standards and proactively solve customer concerns.
- Grow the existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
- Negotiate service agreement renewals and control inventory while working professionally and safely.
- Comply with driving and vehicle regulations.
