About The Position

Franz Family Bakery, founded in 1906 in the Pacific Northwest, is a successful bakery employing over 4,000 people and distributing products across multiple states. They are seeking a reliable, safe, and organized Route Sales Representative to join their fast-paced team. The role involves maintaining bakery products in assigned stores, including stocking, rotating products, and ensuring a pleasing presentation. The representative will also drive a company vehicle to deliver products to customer locations, loading and unloading them, which includes pushing/pulling racks and trays of bakery products.

Requirements

• Must be available to work between 4 a.m. and 6 p.m. weekdays and weekends.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar merchandising and/or route sales position.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and obtain a DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record and provide a current driving abstract from the department of licensing if called for an interview.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly, plus maneuver large bulky racks of product.
• Highly organized, fast-paced, and able to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals both inside and outside the organization.
• Proven work history of being reliable, safe, and positive.

• Experience in bread/bakery/food industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining bakery products in assigned stores, including stocking shelves, rotating outdated products, and facing products.
• Ensuring a neat and orderly appearance of all assigned bakery products.
• Driving a company vehicle to deliver product to customer locations.
• Loading and unloading product in the company-issued vehicle.
• Pushing/pulling racks and trays of bakery products.
