This is a field-based role requiring consistent presence in customer accounts throughout the day during designated standard business hours to ensure customer satisfaction. The role is responsible for the promotion, sales, and merchandising of products for an assigned route. This includes conferring with customers to understand their needs, identifying the best products, processing orders, and scheduling deliveries. The representative will visit each account as scheduled, develop rapport with decision-makers, and promote products and services by recommending displays, POS materials, and organizing shelves. Responsibilities also include rotating product, ensuring no out-of-date beer and accurate pricing, reviewing inventory, determining quantities needed, entering orders, and following up on stock issues or missed deliveries. The role requires compliance with ABC regulations and supplier requirements, and following processes for close-dated product. Additionally, the representative will follow up on leads for new brands/SKUs, communicate new products and promotions, request and place POS materials, and communicate with management regarding competitor activities and business outlook. Customer concerns are to be resolved, with sensitive matters escalated to management. The role also involves completing customer surveys, working safely with proper PPE and techniques, attending sales meetings, and staying updated on new products and programs. The representative is responsible for company-assigned assets and for regular, punctual attendance to ensure timely product delivery.
