About The Position

Imperial Route Sales Delivery Drivers provide snacks, food, and beverages to customers while delivering World Class Service. Drivers work independently, interact directly with customers and clients, and use independent judgment to maximize sales by supplying products customers want. The role involves driving a company vehicle, loading and delivering merchandise, managing inventory and orders, and handling money from machines safely. Drivers also have direct contact with packaged food items intended for public consumption.

Requirements

Have a safe driving record as determined by the insurance carrier and a valid driver's license.
Be able to travel every day to and from client/customer sites.
Be able to drive a company vehicle in all weather conditions.
Be able to work well both independently and with others.
Flexibility.
Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Provide snacks and beverages to customers while delivering World Class Customer Service.
Interact with customers and clients.
Drive a company vehicle to deliver products such as drinks, snacks, pastries, and sandwiches.
Lift and load products weighing more than 50 pounds onto and off the truck, with or without assistance.
Use a handheld computer.
Take inventory and order products from the warehouse to load onto the truck for delivery.
Safely handle money taken to and from machines.
Be punctual and present for work.
Use independent judgment to maximize sales by providing customers with products they want.
Handle packaged food items intended for public consumption.
