About The Position

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Route Floater to fill in for service or delivery routes as needed. The role involves transporting food and products to client locations, servicing vending machines and coolers, managing inventory, and maintaining the company vehicle. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record; a CDL is not required.
Ability to pass a DOT physical.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Outgoing personality and skills to promote products.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and AVI team members.
Ability to work independently and use time efficiently.

Responsibilities

Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with the products needed to service locations.
Drive the vehicle to transport products and food to client locations.
Fill in for service routes or delivery routes as needed.
Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
Ensure cold food products are refrigerated in the truck and at accounts.
Oversee merchandise ordering and control inventory.
Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines.
Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling.
Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
Manage the care of the company vehicle.
