About The Position
Hall's Culligan of Cleveland, Ohio is looking for an outgoing, upbeat team member who is driven to succeed as our new Route Delivery Driver. As a Route Driver with Culligan, you'll be responsible for a daily route with no overnight deliveries. Culligan has been a trusted household brand for 80 years. As a Route Sales Representative, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of coffee products to customers on a predetermined route. This role will be customer facing and requires effective route planning, excellent driving skills and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Our Route Sales Representatives must be able to consult with customers to determine the products and/or amount of products necessary to meet the customer's needs.
Requirements
- Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to successfully pass a Drug Screen.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check per Company requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older and be able to successfully pass, and maintain, a driving record check to be insurable by the Company in order to operate a company vehicle.
- Must be able to safely operate/drive company vehicles, daily for approximately 8-10 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs on a repetitive basis.
- Must remain physically capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, of performing the duties required of this position

Responsibilities
- Prepare the delivery vehicle each day before leaving the warehouse to ensure it is loaded correctly; familiarize yourself with the route layout and customers’ requests to complete the scheduled route.
- Complete all deliveries on route as scheduled.
- Ensure route optimization by identifying challenges or roadblocks ahead of time to complete the route in the most efficient manner.
- Interact with customers while representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
- Address customer questions or concerns during deliveries.
- Respond with a sense of urgency and professionalism to customer requests and concerns outside of regular delivery schedule.
- Develop a strong understanding of the products being delivered and the proper product handling.
- Provide information about products to customers when necessary.
- Complete customer agreements and route sheets accurately and legibly.
- Perform payment collection from customers; promptly turn in customer payments and daily activity sheets to the office staff at the end of each workday.
- Adhere to the proper utilization of handheld palm units, while entering accurate information concerning the customer and abiding by all rules concerning its use.
- Achieve sales goals approved by the Area Sales Manager or GM.
- Ability to sell and upsell the latest products and accessories.
- Operate delivery vehicles safely; adhere to traffic rules and regulations.
- Perform Daily Vehicle Inspections and report any issues to management.
