About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels and ensuring product distribution for micro-markets. The Route Driver will provide excellent client and customer satisfaction, perform routine cleaning and sanitation of machines, and conduct minor maintenance. They will ensure the truck is properly loaded, inform clients about new products and services, and resolve service-related issues. The driver will also be accountable for all goods, invoices, and cash collected, perform product rotation, and conduct inventory reconciliation. Maintaining a clean company vehicle and performing vehicle inspections are also key responsibilities. The role requires the ability to work independently and manage a route with minimal supervision for approximately 98% of the workday.

Requirements

  • Valid Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 3 years of driving experience required.
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability or willingness to learn how to operate material handling equipment (box trucks, hand carts, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and manage a route with minimal supervision for approximately 98% of the workday.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, or at least 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of machines and related equipment.
  • Conduct minor maintenance and adjustments on machines. When necessary, report defective equipment to the designated maintenance service provider or technician dispatcher.
  • Ensure the truck is properly loaded with all products required to service scheduled micro markets and machines according to operational procedures.
  • Inform regular clients and customers about new products and services, listen to concerns, and resolve service-related issues.
  • Report all client and/or customer complaints to the immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Set up merchandise displays and promotional materials for customers.
  • Be accountable for all goods received, invoices, delivery tickets, cash collected, and products handled.
  • Perform product rotation to ensure product freshness.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliation according to district procedures.
  • Keep the company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and professional manner.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned.
