About The Position

Join our team as a Parts Driver and become the face of Velocity Truck Centres - delivering more than just parts, but exceptional service with every stop. As a Parts Driver, you will be more than just a driver - you will be the face of Velocity Truck Centres for many of our customers. This role is all about delivering exceptional service while ensuring our customers and service departments receive the parts they need, on time and with professionalism. You will handle the prompt and safe delivery and pickup of parts to and from customers, vendors, and other branches, while representing our brand in every interaction. When not on the road, you will support the warehouse team with shipping, receiving, and organization.

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous driving or warehouse experience is an asset
• Forklift experience is an asset (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts across the area
• Be a positive, professional representative of Velocity Truck Centres to customers and vendors
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Operate a forklift when needed (training provided)
• Pick, stock, and organize parts to maintain an efficient work area
• Identify and locate various heavy-duty truck parts accurately
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic upkeep checks
• Follow all provincial and company safe driving standards
• Support the shipping and receiving team when not on delivery runs
