About The Position

The Route Driver operates a raw materials collection vehicle in order to provide removal of the material from multiple customer locations. This role involves collecting & inspecting the raw material at the time of pick up, checking for any foreign or hazardous material. You will provide the customer with a receipt of pick up which contains weight of product and signature of management at location. You will maintain the company vehicle you use, maintaining it in cleanest possible manner, and operating it in accordance with Company, federal, state and local regulations. You may be required to maintain a DOT log book. Maintaining excellent customer relations by providing quality, professional service at all times is part of this role. Will need to follow all of our Company safety procedures and guidelines. Other duties may be assigned by management as necessary.

Requirements

• Candidates need to be at least 21 years old.
• CDL Class A license.
• Registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/
• Must be able to operate a manual vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Prior route experience within a customer-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with the equipment and ability to perform a thorough pre-trip and post trip of the equipment.
• Ability to use basic math and writing skills.
• Understanding of traffic laws along with DOT regulations related to the commercial vehicle you are operating.
