About The Position

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring energetic Truck Team Members to drive junk trucks, perform physical removal work, and provide customers with a positive experience. The role follows a four-day-per-week schedule, with three days off each week. Drivers operate an Isuzu NPR 17–20 ft truck and remove unwanted items from customers’ properties. They assess jobs and quote prices using provided training and pricing sheets. The team also aims to keep usable and recyclable items out of landfills through donation and recycling in accordance with local regulations. The position offers training and opportunities for growth, including promotion eligibility after 90 days of employment.

Requirements

Be at least 20 years old to qualify for commercial insurance underwriting.
Hold a valid, non-provisional driver’s license; a CDL is not required.
Have a clean driving history for the previous three years, with no points, suspensions, or violations.
Have a positive attitude, reliability, and a goal-driven mindset.
Be comfortable repeatedly lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Drive an Isuzu NPR 17–20 ft 1-800-GOT-JUNK? truck to customer locations.
Remove unwanted items from customers’ properties and load them into the truck.
Provide a positive customer experience.
Assess jobs and quote customers for removal services using provided pricing sheets.
Donate reusable items and recycle recyclable materials where possible, while following local regulations.
Manage time and the daily schedule effectively.
