Route Delivery Driver (Part - Time ) -Little Ferry, NJ
About The Position
BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry. We have an immediate opportunity for two Part Time Delivery Drivers in our Little Ferry, NJ location! This role involves safely operating a small box truck or cargo van to load, unload, and deliver freight while adhering to assigned routes and time-sensitive schedules. The position requires a strong commitment to safety, the ability to navigate using GPS and scanning devices, and comfort with repeated entry/exit from vehicles. Daily vehicle inspections, fueling, and maintenance reporting are also key responsibilities, along with maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of Age
- Valid driver's license/ Real ID
- Acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).
- Background check required.
- Ability to use smartphones and willingness to learn our company’s workflow-related applications
- Experience driving cargo vans and box trucks
Responsibilities
- Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van.
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices.
- Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers).
- Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles
