The Route Driver will be responsible for picking up dead hogs, cattle and meat scraps from farm sites on a daily route and returning to the Blue Earth MN. The work schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, with Wednesday as a clean-up day or for other tasks. The flexible start time is 6:00 am, with work hours per day ranging from 10 to 11 hours. The driver must be able to handle outside elements year-round, collect and inspect products at the time of pickup for any foreign material at the customer location, and maintain an Electronic DOT log. The role requires responsible operation of the vehicle in accordance with Company, federal, state, and local regulations, conducting pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, and observing company policies, procedures, and safety rules. Maintaining excellent customer relations by providing quality, professional service at all times is essential. The driver will also be responsible for completing all company-required paperwork daily and attending all safety meetings, with potential service on the Safety Committee. Other duties may be assigned by management.
