About The Position

Edmonson Electric, a premier residential electrical contractor in Florida, is looking for a Residential Electrical Rough Crew Lead for its Jacksonville Branch. Edmonson Electric is an established company with over 45 years in business and promotes from within across its 8 branches. This is a piece-rate position, not hourly.

Requirements

Electrical knowledge for rough wiring of homes.
Ability to read electrical prints, scale prints, and measurements.
Knowledge of wiring procedure per NEC Code.
Specialty tool use knowledge – i.e. Wood Auger Drill, Generator, Boring Drill, Chipping Hammer.
Ability to pull wire through the entire home.
New home rough wiring experience is required.
Knowledge of electrical safety (Lock Out Tag Out).
Must have a clean driving record.
Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
Ability to safely operate company van in various weather and road conditions.

Responsibilities

Installation of rough wiring for new construction homes, including laying out lines, mounting junction boxes, pulling wiring, and setting up the electrical panel, grounding, and overhead service wire.
Install rough wiring for new construction homes in a neat and workmanlike manner.
Ensure that the rough electrical installation is done to NEC code and all applicable county/state codes.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
