About The Position

RMB Products is seeking a Rotational Molding (“Roto Mold”) Operator 2nd shift who is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining rotational molding equipment to produce high-quality products that meet engineering specifications, company quality standards, and customer requirements. This role performs machine setup, mold preparation, production, finishing, inspection, and basic equipment maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and customer specifications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate rotational molding machines, forklifts, cranes, pneumatic tools, impact tools, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to set up and adjust manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify product or process issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous rotational molding or plastics manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor rotational molding equipment according to work orders, setup sheets, production schedules, and established procedures.
  • Prepare molds, materials, tooling, inserts, and equipment for production.
  • Program and adjust machine settings, including time, temperature, and rotation, to produce parts that meet required specifications.
  • Mount, remove, clean, inspect, and maintain molds, tooling, and related equipment.
  • Perform finishing operations including demolding, trimming, de-flashing, and other post-molding processes.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products using appropriate measuring tools.
  • Identify, document, segregate, and report nonconforming materials or products according to established quality procedures.
  • Complete production, quality, maintenance, scrap, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment readiness activities.
  • Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, work instructions, and company policies.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support production goals and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Work overtime, modified schedules, or additional hours as needed to meet business requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
