About The Position

The Roto Mold Associate III produces quality plastic parts by completing molding and secondary operations. The role includes identifying, processing, packaging, and storing equipment and inventory in ways that prevent damage during transport; accurately reporting daily production; and meeting daily production goals. Employees must follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment. Other duties may be assigned by the Manager, Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, or Lead.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with solid work experience.
• Must be able to visually distinguish different colors.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and other documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to stand for 10–12 hours per shift and lift or move up to 50 pounds often.
• Must be willing and able to work any shift, which may include weekends and overtime.
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• One year of manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Forklift operator experience.
• Hoist operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identify, process, and complete molding and secondary operations needed to produce quality plastic parts.
• Identify, process, package, and store equipment for inventory in a way that prevents damage during transport.
• Use required equipment, including hoists, die grinders, drills, routers, and forklifts.
• Accurately report daily production.
• Meet daily production goals and read and understand the work schedule board and blueprints.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, or Lead.
