About The Position

The Blow Mold Packer inspects and packs plastic bottles, monitors automated equipment to prevent jams, and reports bottle defects or machine issues. The role helps maintain smooth production flow by keeping conveyor lines clear, labeling finished goods accurately, supporting inventory counts and record-keeping, and preparing materials and equipment for each shift. This is an onsite role at KIK’s Mars, Pennsylvania facility, scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 11:40 PM. Pay is $19.57 per hour, plus a $2 shift differential for second-shift work.

Requirements

High school degree or GED equivalent.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Ability to work safely.
Ability to work in a chemical environment involving bleach and ammonia.

Responsibilities

Lift and transport bundles of corrugated bulk containers filled with plastic bottles, assemble them into grouped boxes, and secure them with twine.
Inspect plastic bottles for defects such as holes, surface lines, or water spots, and pack approved bottles into boxes.
Monitor automated machinery to prevent operational jams.
Notify the supervisor of defective bottles or equipment malfunctions.
Keep conveyor belts clear of excess bottles.
Operate the bagger machine as required.
Alert appropriate personnel when additional raw materials are needed.
Track the number of bottles produced during each shift.
Label boxes or bags with the correct date and shift identification, following designated color-coding requirements.
Support departmental inventory activities and perform routine record-keeping tasks.
