About The Position

A private family in Austin, TX is looking for an experienced rotational Private Chef to manage daily family meals. The chef will work closely with the family's other chef to provide food coverage throughout the week. This is a live-out role for a chef who enjoys high-quality and tasty home-style cooking rather than formal fine dining every day. Excellent, well-prepared, beautifully presented, and flavorful cuisine is required. A driving licence is required for kitchen provisioning and household errands. The family enjoys Italian, Mediterranean, modern American, and Japanese cuisine. They are looking for healthy, varied, and flavourful everyday cooking, prepared with care, good taste, and consistency. The chef will mainly prepare lunch and dinner for two adults and four children, as well as additional staff lunches. The chef will also be required to assist with grocery shopping and purchasing non-food items and toiletries to help keep the household running smoothly.

Requirements

5+ years of Private Chef experience.
Driving licence.
Friendly, clean, and organised demeanor.
Very flexible.
Comfortable working in a private home with children.

Responsibilities

Manage daily family meals.
