Rotational Field Service Technician

About The Position

This role involves traveling to customer sites to perform installations, commissioning, testing, calibration, and training on NOV products. The technician will also conduct field upgrades, communicate field issues, and manage billing, inventory, and paperwork, ensuring all documentation is submitted promptly.

Requirements

• Must be 21
• HS Diploma or GED Required
• Willing to travel over 75% of the time
• Work schedule is 14 days on, 14 days off for rotational technicians
• Willing to work 12+ hours daily during your schedule
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware
• All applicants must pass a background check, driving record check, drug screening, and physical.

Nice To Haves

• AA Degree and/or equivalent experience with 2+ years of technical experience preferred
• Electrical background preferred

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV products
• Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems
• Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system
• Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments
• Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner
