2027 Rotational Engineer
About The Position
The 2027 Gates Innovation in Engineering Program is a two-year project-based program offering the opportunity to work in one or more of the Gates’ Development & Technical Centers and Production Facilities across the US. Assignments will span multiple facilities and/or functions to increase Gates’ knowledge and development. Program participants will join Gates’ engineering team and innovate in the science of motion performance. Whether your engineering focus is in manufacturing, material science, process, quality, or research and development, you can help Gates build efficient and effective components and systems for the industrial and automotive worlds. The purpose of this program is to accelerate professional development through project-based business assignments, gaining diverse engineering and manufacturing experience. We are seeking highly motivated, ambitious, forward-thinking, and open-minded individuals who are ready to start their career with us.
Requirements
- Must be a current B.S. or M.S student in Mechanical, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering with an expected Graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Internship or Co-Op experience in a Manufacturing environment, strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), ability to work as a contributing member of a fast-paced engineering team.
- Positive attitude and strong desire to learn.
- Geographically mobile (you will receive relocation assistance).
- Prior experience using Engineering software (CAD/CAM), preferred.
- Exhibits the Gates values in all actions and decisions.
- Global mindset and the ability to thrive in a diverse culture and environment.
