About The Position

We are seeking a rotational Chef to join a beautiful 40m classic Feadship. This is a family-oriented program with American owners and an excellent crew longevity record.

Requirements

  • Male preferred due to cabin arrangements
  • Minimum of 3 years of yachting experience is preferred
  • Verifiable references
  • Ability to present a well-organized portfolio, including personal photos and sample menus
  • Valid certifications: STCW, ENG1, Ship’s Cook Certificate, and Food Hygiene Level 3 is mandatory
  • B1/B2 visa or US passport in hand is mandatory
  • Willingness to undergo a criminal background check prior to employment

Responsibilities

  • Restaurant timing, presentation, balance
  • Experience with baked goods and deserts
  • Healthy (but with a consideration for flavor). Americana style guest menu + healthy balanced crew food
  • Ability to maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene and galley cleanliness
  • Willingness to participate in crew watch and other ship side duties

Benefits

  • Salary: $7,000 - $7,500.00 monthly
  • Raise: 4% annual raise

  • Rotation: 10 weeks on / 10 weeks off (1: .95) subject to operational schedule
