About The Position

PETRONAS Canada is seeking a Rotating Planner to join their Production team in Calgary, AB. This role reports to the Team Lead Planning and is responsible for developing Rotating job plans and budgets to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the company’s assets. This position is available as either a temporary employee or contractor.

Requirements

• Post-secondary Mechanical or Millwright trade diploma
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in rotating job planning
• Sound communication, time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and prioritize

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with Maximo is considered an asset
• Competency in financial budgeting and analysis is considered an asset
• Continuously explores ways to innovate established work processes

Responsibilities

• Develop job plans for rotating work and rotating responsibilities related to the Field Asset Maintenance and Reliability (FAMR) policy
• Build, track, and monitor the annual rotating budget and maintenance plan
• Steward corporate processes to FAMR and actively identify and contribute to related continuous improvement initiatives
• Support annual turnaround and outage planning
• Complete vendor management competency assessments and work order validation for rotating activities
• Collaborate with the Remote Operations Centre (ROC) to ensure job plans are understood and effectively implemented
• Provide technical assistance and advice to the field execution team for rotating equipment related items
