As a Rotating Equipment Technical Specialist, you will conduct technical and economic evaluations, performance testing, design and construction of new and existing facilities, and research on new developments, applying your strong understanding of industry and operational requirements. Taking initiative and anticipating customer needs will make you a stand-out player. Requirements

  • Technical Specialist I Required: High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience or Associates degree in technical field
  • Technical Specialist II Required: High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience or Associates degree in technical field and a minimum two (2) years’ experience in oil & gas industry
  • Technical Specialist III Required: High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience or Associates degree in engineering or a technical field and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in oil & gas industry
  • Technical Specialist Sr Required: Associates degree or equivalent experience and minimum of six (6) years' experience in oil & gas industry

Nice To Haves

  • Technical Specialist I Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or engineering; technical internship
  • Technical Specialist II Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or engineering and a minimum four (4) years of progressive experience in field operations or other technical specialty
  • Technical Specialist III Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field and minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in field operations or other technical specialty
  • Technical Specialist Sr Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field and minimum ten (10) years of progressive experience in field operations/construction or other technical specialty field

Responsibilities

  • Supports high speed recips across the Williams Gulf Coast Storage and NorTex facilities
  • Accounts for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgment
  • May supervise the work of others
  • Demonstrates technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function and applies specialized knowledge in the effective completion of large-scope projects
  • Prepares and delivers presentations
  • Anticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutions
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and improves products, processes or services
  • Collaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs
  • Champions processes, procedures and safety standards
  • Monitors and controls costs and resources associated with projects
  • Other duties as assigned
