About The Position

Diamond Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a Rotating Equipment Specialist located in Seadrift (TX). In this role you play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the site's rotating equipment assets, including pumps, compressors, motors, turbines, and other critical mechanical systems. Leveraging technical expertise, EHS knowledge, and manufacturing experience, this role supports maintenance and operations teams, drives equipment reliability improvements, and enhances maintenance work processes. As a key technical resource and mentor, the Rotating Equipment Specialist helps develop site expertise while promoting a culture of safety, reliability, and operational excellence. This role is aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions (“Diamond Infra”) company and will be seconded from Dow to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions until January 1, 2027. At that time, the role will become directly aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Company.

Requirements

A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
5 or more years of relevant experience maintaining rotating equipment.
Willing and able to participate in maintenance support on call schedule.
Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Rotating Equipment Expertise: Uses deep technical knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and related equipment to diagnose issues, optimize performance, and ensure safe, reliable operation across the site.
Reliability Improvement: Analyzes equipment performance, maintenance history, and failure data to identify opportunities that improve asset reliability and reduce downtime.
Troubleshooting: Investigates equipment malfunctions, conducts failure analysis, and directs effective repair solutions to restore operational performance.
Maintenance Planning: Applies maintenance work processes, preventative maintenance strategies, and spare parts management practices to support efficient execution of maintenance activities.
Technical Leadership: Provides technical guidance, mentors mechanics and maintenance team members, and drives consistent execution of high-quality maintenance and repair practices.

Responsibilities

Acts as technical resource for the maintenance team.
Reviews and adjusts preventative maintenance activities to assure reliability of equipment.
Checks sizing of components and parts.
Specifies, requisitions, and supports the installation of parts and equipment.
Coordinates identification of critical spare parts.
Supports maintenance planning activities as needed.
Identifies and supports training of mechanics.
Oversees and is accountable for the quality of repairs and takes action to assure consistent high-quality results.
Supports repairs, maintenance and installation of equipment and machinery which is used in the process.
Troubleshoots and directs repairs of malfunctions and documents failure analysis.
Collects equipment operation and history data to facilitate reliability improvements.
Works within established Maintenance Work Processes and helps resolve issues that surface as a result of planning and scheduling work.
Interfaces with Maintenance and Reliability engineering to support maintenance and reliability improvement efforts.
