About The Position
Acuren is hiring rope access tradespeople in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana, for boilermaker, pipefitter, insulator, painter, combo welder, and electrician roles. Training is available for qualified candidates who do not yet have Rope Access certification. A TWIC card is required, and candidates must be comfortable working at heights and willing to meet the physical demands of elevated work environments.
Requirements
- IRATA or SPRAT Level I certification, including proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing, and rescue/hauling.
- TWIC card required.
- Must have industrial refinery experience.
- Must have mechanical industrial experience.
- Must be comfortable working at heights and meet the physical demands of the job.
- Required certification levels may vary for specific projects.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- NCCER certification (Trained Individual) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders.
- Be conversant with relevant work techniques.
- Demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of a Level 1 Rope Access Technician.
- Assist other technicians as required.
- Ensure the operational safety of all equipment.
