About The Position
Acuren Inspection is looking for Rope Access Technicians to support operations in Lima, OH. This will be an embedded position. The Rope Access technicians are responsible for managing the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, organizing work functions specific to rope access jobs, and supervising crews engaged in performing a broad range of technical and/or industrial services at heights. The role ensures individual and organizational compliance with IRATA standards and regulations to ensure the safe and effective performance of work. Preference will be given to candidates with an NDT or mechanical trades background.
Requirements
- IRATA or SPRAT Level I Certification required including proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling
- Must have industrial refinery experience
- Must have mechanical industrial experience
- Per client requirements you must pass a hair follicle going back 90-120 days, along with periodic random testing.
Nice To Haves
- Valid drivers’ license preferred
- Required certification levels for specific projects
- Preferred individual with the NCCER certification (Trained Individual)
Responsibilities
- Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
- Be conversant with relevant work techniques
- Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a level 1 Rope Access Technician
- Assist other technicians as required
- Ensure operational safety of all equipment
