Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. The role involves performing a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. It also includes performing a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components. The Mechanical Tech V will fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies and assist with analyzing data and recommending modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications. Work will be performed from process sheets, diagrams and drawings, making initial layouts, and using hand and/or power tools and jigs. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and 4 years in a Manufacturing technician role or similar position
  • J-STD Handsoldering certification
  • Must be able to lift 20-40lbs.
  • Experience following processes and instructions as well as interpreting written instructions and drawings

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Manufacturing Experience and/or certification
  • IPC Certification
